She loves dreaming big dreams for God – anything to give back to the One who has given her everything. Allie is open and honest about her encounters with depression and is passionate about helping young women discover, strengthen and reclaim their value and worth as daughters of God. She is married to her best friend Paul and lives in Santa Barbara. Bio: Although women come to hear Jen Strickland speak because of her breadth of experience in the modeling industry, she is more than a former international model. Jen is a grateful wife, blessed mom, inspired speaker, gifted teacher and natural writer, sent into the world with a message of God’s love. Her journey to discovering the love of Christ was not a simple one; at times, it was full of glamour and prestige; at times, wracked with turmoil and despair. Her experiences in and out of the modeling industry led her down a crooked path that left her empty-handed and empty-hearted; but that was not her final destination! Bio: Andrea Stephens loves Jesus, the Word, hubby Bill (Senior Pastor of New Hope EPC whom she has been married to for 24—count’em—24 years), teen girls, and her Bobbi Brown Lip Palette (Papaya Shimmer is her favorite). This former pageant girl, model with Wilhelmina Models, Inc. in NYC, and youth director, holds a degree in Biblical Studies (shhh—it took her 30 years to complete it, but don’t tell anyone) and now teaches/writes for women/teen girls (16 books so far). Andrea travels the country presenting The B.A.B.E. Event (Beautiful, Accepted, Blessed, Eternal®) and Being YOU and Loving It! She squeezes in her mom/daughter talk What’s Up with Her? and speaks at conferences/retreats for women. At church she coordinates/teaches Women’s Bible Study and Girls’ Bible Study, and also serves on the Women’s Ministry Board. She is passionate about discipleship, missions, and the God-given potential in every woman/teen girl. She enjoys being BRIO Magazine’s Beauty Editor (Focus on the Family), painting seascapes in oil, riding the tandem with Bill, pepperoni pizza, and the incredible scent coming from the gardenia bush in her backyard.
