Mission
Wonderfully Made is a Christian ministry dedicated to helping today's modern young women discover, strengthen, and reclaim their true value and worth.
Vision
Through our conferences, wm Voices, resources and college chapters it is our desire to impart a message of freedom and worth upon every young women while specifically offering hope for those struggling with issues such as depression, eating disorders, self-harm, promiscuity and drug and alcohol abuse.
Who We Are
We are just a bunch of girls who are all about being real with one another, who are here to encourage each other and build one another up, to grow in our faith together and to commit ourselves to walking in the truth that we are God's daughters - loved-beyond measure. We can share our stories and dreams with one another, our friendship and love, and commit to investing in the lives of younger girls so they too may come to know their true value and worth. We admit that we are broken and don't have it all together; that life can be hard at times, but we can smile at tomorrow because we never walk alone. We want to wake up each morning and clothe ourselves with "strength and dignity, and open our arms to the poor and extend our hands to the needy because we know that to whom much is given, much is required. We can be honest with each other when we have doubts, laugh out loud because we love to have fun, cry if we need to, and make this life one awesome and unbelievable adventure. Above all, we want to know Jesus intimately and authentically and strive to live a life of abundant love and service as He did. We challenge each other to love every girl continuously wherever she may be in her life, seeing the precious beauty that is within her. This is but a glimpse of what God is calling us to rise up and do for His glory!
The Beginning
Wonderfully Made was founded by Allie Marie Smith as a sophomore at Pepperdine University. After experiencing severe depression and witnessing a number of close girlfriends go through similar struggles such as self-harm, eating disorders, abortion, drug and alcohol abuse, and unhealthy relationships, God gave her a heart to impart a message of hope, freedom and worth upon today's generation of young women.
The vision of Wonderfully Made was birthed and has since spread to college campuses including Santa Clara University and Westmont College. In addition to offering college chapters, WM partners with local high schools and churches and has expanded to include Young Womens Conferences, a professional Speakers & Musicians Bureau (wm Voices), and resources such as our HEAL program.
